Good afternoon, If you are looking to manually add deposits to your account register, then at the bottom of Quicken 2015 for Mac there is a Plus (+) sign and the word New. Click on that and fill out the information in the register line. Be default, deposit is the last field. For some great information on Quicken 2015 for Mac please check out these videos for QE that one of the SuperUsers - JRS (John in NC) made. They are excellent!

Quicken 2015 – How to Add a Bank Account September 26th, 2014: So we’ve been using Quicken 2015 since it was released a few days ago and must say that we really like this release (our favorite new thing being the snap and store receipt feature which you can read about in our full review ).
If you cannot find your answer in either of these locations please comment below with, specifically, what you are trying to accomplish. Best of luck Colin. I have previously used Quicken for Mac 2007. I just purchased the 2015 version, but didn't want to import my old files, I'd rather start fresh, and I don't want to connect to my checking account online either. So I have set up a manual account, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to put in the starting balance, or any other depost either. I am not seeing what you describe when I click new at the bottom. I just get a new debit transaction, I can't even indicate what kind it is.

I am about to abandon this entirely, but if you can help me I'd be grateful. Do take a look at the videos that Colin recommended (see above). That should answer many of the questions that you have. Because the set of videos for Quicken Mac 2015 is, at this time, a work in progress, also take a look at these videos: OK, so they were written for the older Quicken Essentials, but it is my understanding that they (mostly) still apply.
